GAME DAY STAFF

Jason is a long time Peninsula resident who has been actively involved in the sporting community his entire life. An ardent fan of the game of hockey, Jason is a 10-year PMHA minor hockey coach and continues as a 14-year Association board member. Most recently he has served terms as the VP of Hockey Operations, Coaching Coordinator and Player Assessments for the PMHA.

Since 2011 Jason has been a volunteer with the Panthers organization. He has held numerous roles that include a billet family, timekeeper, scorekeeping, game day announcing and served for several years as the team’s alternate governor. Jason was also the originator of the Kraft Hockeyville winning nomination in 2015 and led the local organizing committee for the NHL game between the Vancouver Canucks and San Jose Sharks and the allocation of the $100,000 prize as a result of winning the contest.

Jason calls Sidney his home, works as a Director in the BC Provincial Government and enjoys spending time with his three grown children: Ashleigh, Zach and current Panther, #15 Malcolm.

David Marshall is a talented Game Day DJ and Announcer who brings energy and excitement to sports events in Victoria, British Columbia. With a passion for music and sports, David has become a familiar face at various local teams’ games, including the VIJHL Peninsula Panthers. As the Game Day DJ and Announcer for the Panthers, David sets the tone for hockey fans. His carefully curated playlists and enthusiastic announcements enhance the game-day experience for players and spectators alike. For the WCL Victoria Harbour Cats Baseball Team, David’s skills extend beyond the ice rink. He also serves as the Game Day DJ for the WCL Victoria Harbour Cats Baseball Team. Whether it’s a home run or a close play at the plate, David’s soundtrack resonates through the stadium, keeping fans engaged and entertained. As a Back-Up DJ for BCHL Victoria Grizzlies and WHL Victoria Royals, David’s versatility shines as he steps in as the Back-Up DJ for both the BCHL Victoria Grizzlies and the WHL Victoria Royals. When the primary DJ needs support, David seamlessly takes over, ensuring the music keeps playing and the crowd stays pumped up. David’s dedication to creating an electric atmosphere at sporting events makes him an integral part of the Victoria sports community. Whether it’s hockey or baseball, fans can count on him to provide the soundtrack for unforgettable moments.

Brendan is a 17-year-old high school student who has been proud to sing the national anthem for the Panthers for the past six years. Brendan studies voice and piano, and loves performing as a soloist and in musical theatre productions, including recent roles as Danny in Grease and Oliver Warbucks in Annie.
